About Isaac
Isaac is a seasoned music instructor, performer, and producer based in the Nashville area, originally from Louisville, KY. He began playing guitar at age 9, and it has since become both his passion and his career. While guitar is his specialty, he is also skilled in drums, bass, and piano. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production from Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee's leading audio school.
With years of experience as a freelance musician and instructor, Isaac has performed across a wide range of genres, including jazz, R&B, pop, rock, folk, gospel, hip-hop, indie, and heavy metal. Some samples of Isaac's session work and producer credits are available on his website.
Isaac taught his first guitar student at age 16 and has been cultivating his craft as an educator ever since. After developing his own curriculum and personalized teaching approach, he relocated to the Nashville area to focus on teaching freelance. A natural motivator, Isaac sets high standards for his students while tailoring lessons to their unique interests and goals. His versatility as a musician makes him an ideal instructor for a diverse range of learners. Whether it’s mastering Black Sabbath riffs, exploring the 12-bar blues, or diving into the intricacies of jazz improvisation, Isaac is passionate about guiding students on their musical journey.
